A cheaper journey to the same destination.

Project time!
I am going to turn my boring gray dress into a fun mexican-styled one.

The materials are all from Joann Fabrics. The embroidery floss is only 39 cents a piece, and the tailors pen and embroidery hoop were also very cheap. If you use coupons or get all of them on sale you can easily spend less than $10 !

I have had this dress forever. I love it and it is so comfortable, but it is so boring. I have never been able to brighten this up enough to wear it, so I’m DIYing it.

Stay Tuned!

Good news everyone!

Starting soon, Trish and I will be starting to make fandom related everything.

Some of them will be to sell at booths at cons, and I’m sorry to say but because they’re for profit (and some will be to raise money for a cause) we can’t divulge the secret on how to make them, but they will be on out etsy once we get it running!

There will be some I will be more than happy to show everyone how to make, but others are a secret.

Changing My Perspective: Great gift idea: Ice cream sundae kit

sosodeb:

I made this today for a co-worker’s birthday tomorrow. It’s a prototype so please excuse some of the imperfections.

Just find a box, any box and wrap it in really pretty paper or decorate it with sponged paint maybe? I found this paper at a dollar store, it’s sticky shelf paper and was a…

DIY: Starbucks Strawberry Banana Smoothie (almost)

I love the Strawberry Banana Smoothies at everyone’s favourite overpriced coffee stand. But, I can’t spend the $4 a pop to get one. So after much snooping on the internet I have found the recipe.

Recently I’ve started a(nother) health kick to hopefully make me feel better. Now that I’ve started taking my vitamins I have to eat something with it or I feel sick.

And food DIYs are the best DIYs because if they don’t turn out the best you just eat them and try again!

Also a quick reminder to all new followers

This blog only follows back other DIY/craft related blogs. That doesn’t mean we love you personal bloggers any less, but weeding through 100+ followers’ posts for crafts can get crazy.

We are tracking DIY and all things related, so if you want to share something please submit or tag your posts!

Holy new followers, Batman!

Wow! A huge, resounding “thank you!” to everyone who followed us and are still continuing to even after our months of silence. Our lives have gotten crazy, but that means that I think of both of us will be home more and have even more crafting to do!

My home life has gotten a little crazy, but I am hoping to move out in the fall, so you can expect mounds of DIY home-edition posts later on this year.

I’ll be posting a recipe I tried out today, and I’m in the process of learning how to make potpurri, so once that is finished there will be a little 2-in-1 tutorial.

Exciting things are happening. :D

cheesy-e: Am I allowed to submit? :D

Yes, please! :D

This blog is run by two girls in Denver, CO. This blog is dedicated to crafting and DIY (Do It Yourself) because it is possible to decorate and personalize cheaply.

Some or most photos and posts will be original content by either Tricia or Bryce on our crafting adventures and how-to's. That being said, any DIYs we run across that we want to try or share will be queued, and credit will be given where it is due.

If you have any DIY's that you want to see us try and give a step-by-step or review on, please submit it! We are always looking for more things to spend money on and make.

This blog is strictly for crafting, sewing, and the like. Any personal questions should be directed to our respective personal blogs below.
